I work as a Fine Art Conservator and Restorer for Bloomsbury Fine Art & Antiques, a major private antiques and fine-art dealer in the Pacific Northwest serving collectors and designers internationally. My work spans antique and contemporary paintings, sculpture, ornate frames, works on paper, and other media, including objects valued from four to six figures.

Each treatment begins with close observation of the artwork, its materials, and the nature of its damage. Depending on the piece, my work may include careful surface cleaning and varnish reduction, structural reinforcement, tear and loss repair, fills, texture recreation, inpainting and color matching, sculpting, mold making and casting, frame and ornament reconstruction, and protective finishing. I use a wide range of traditional and contemporary materials and techniques to stabilize vulnerable areas, make losses visually coherent, and restore both sculptural and architectural objects and 2D physical media for curated display.

Projects have required both precision and invention: matching marks from Old Master and academic traditions through Impressionist and modern painting; rebuilding missing sculptural or architectural detail from surviving evidence; repairing severely damaged plaster and composition ornament; and integrating treatment so that the work can be displayed as if turning back the clock.
