Immersive Art Design & Fabrication
Escape New Haven
2020-01-01
In 2020, during COVID-19 lockdowns, I was contracted by Escape Industries in New Haven, CT to help design outdoor escape room games where families could explore urban and park environments together and have immersive fun while staying safely in open air.
I designed puzzle systems, digitally painted worldbuilding assets, and created graphics for reproducible in-world newspaper and journal entries that could be printed and fabricated by sign shops for durable outdoor gameplay.
As part of the outdoor adventure park installation, I sculpted wooden puzzle totems and developed concept art variants to guide fabrication, visual language, and puzzle readability in natural settings.
